Swingland is excited to open a new weekly night in Hammersmith - at the beautiful Linden House Riverside. In our classes you'll learn all the basics of Lindy hop - the original swing dance! The classes s are taught by Swingland founder Martin Ellis, with help from Liza Patoux and guests. Established in 1998, Swingland Ltd. is run by Martin Ellis who has been dancing, teaching, and performing Lindy hop ("jitterbug" or "jive") and related Swing Era dances since the early 1990s.
This event is hosted by Zoë and Kate, who hosted the event last year and have hosted successful fundraising events in the past. The whole night is in aid of Lumi Foundation, an award-winning local charity with a mission to make yoga accessible to all.
