Hello, my wonderful dancers!

We’re back again for the third time — and it’s Boogie-Woogie time of the year! We’re excited to welcome Silvia and Alberto once again for another great workshop on Sunday, the 28th of June.

We’ll start with two classes, followed by a social dance, meaning it’s the perfect opportunity to learn new footwork and technique, then put it all into practice on the dance floor.

There will also be time to relax, have a drink, and — if the sun is shining — enjoy the beautiful patio overlooking the river. Truly the perfect setting for a sunny summer afternoon.

For those of you who haven’t tried it yet, Boogie Woogie is a super fun, bouncy, and playful variation of swing dance that originated in Europe in the 1940s. It’s typically danced in 6-count patterns (similar to our Ballroom Jive) to upbeat rock’n’roll music. Think West Coast Swing— only with even more energy and flair!

Some of you know Alberto and Silvia from our amazing dance retreat in Bologna and our sessions here in London, organized by JiveMeToTheMoon. We had such a blast that we had to bring them back here for you all.

No need to sign up with a partner—we’ll rotate partners during the class. This is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen your footwork and experience a unique, rarely-taught dance style here in London!

Details:

-3.00pm to 4.10pm - Beginners Level - Fee £16

-4.20pm to 5.30pm - Improver Level Fee £16

-5.30pm to 7pm - Social Dance ONLY £7

**Both classes are £30, and the fee includes the social till 7 pm .
