Your Safety
The health and wellbeing of our visitors and staff is our highest priority. In line with the latest advice from Public Health England, the team at Linden House have put together a set of measures which we have already implemented. These measures have been put together after conducting a thorough COVID-19 risk assessment, and are subject to change as the situation demands.
Our Guests
Guests entering and leaving the premises are requested to use the compulsory hand sanitation stations provided at the Entrance Door and in the Entrance Hall. In order to ensure the safety of our guests and our team we kindly ask that if you are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 that you do not enter the premises.
Guests are kindly asked to wash their hands in accordance with the government guidelines. Guests are asked to co-operate in reducing the number of surfaces touched in order to limit the hot touch points.
In order to comply with the tracing guidelines stipulated by the government guests are required to register for events held at our venue. Advance lists will need to be provided 10 days prior to the event.
Our Venue
Our capacities will be reduced as we will be applying distancing rules to each of our rooms. Please be advised that the current layouts and capacities are under continuous revision in order to be compliant with government guidelines.
Clear signage and floor markings to support social distancing has been placed throughout the venue.
In order to reduce potential contact points, the doors leading to and from certain public areas will remain open.
A one-way flow system will apply on the staircase and we would kindly ask that guests adhere to this system as the distance between guests while on the staircase is less than one metre.
Supplier procedures and policies for disinfections, distancing and hygiene are continuously reviewed.
Our venue will not be using conference cloths for trestle tables and will ensure that cleaning of the tables and chairs will take place prior, during and after your event.
Our Team
Detailed training for all our team in essential hygiene standards, the social distancing government guidelines and the appropriate risks associated with operating in a COVID-19 safe workplace has been provided.
Daily COVID-19 staff training and briefing takes place including hand washing every 30 minutes and hand sanitising after every customer interaction.
No one with a high temperature will be allowed to work and any team member showing symptoms will have to isolate.
Our staff will maintain distancing and personal safety rules during set-up and break-down procedures.
Staff will wear gloves to reduce surface contamination risk.
Equipment
Equipment must be disinfected after setting up and breaking down. Additional cables and controls that organisers request, will be disinfected before taking to the room. Gloves will be worn for the installation of these.
Whiteboards will be disinfected at each set up and at the end of each day.
Organisers are asked to provide their own flipcharts should they so wish. These flipcharts are to be removed from the venue at the end of the day.
Linden House kindly requests organisers to provide their own stationery and delegate packs as share stationery is a high risk of contamination. These items must be taken away by delegates or will be disposed of at the end of the event.
Ventilation
Linden House does not have air conditioning and encourages organisers to keep doors and windows open. Window and door handles have been assessed as high touch points and as such will be disinfected.
Food and Beverage
Each delegate will be provided with their own sealed bottle of water.
A delegate pack to include a bottle of water, a bottle of sanitiser, a mask and set of gloves can be provided by the venue at a surcharge to the room hire fee.
Individual pre-wrapped disposable cutlery will be offered together with individual meals served in disposable boxes.
Cleaning
High touch point cleaning will be carried out during the main break by staff wearing gloves and masks.
Meeting rooms will be disinfected at the end of each day for meetings longer than one day.
Rooms will be secured after cleaning to prevent entry.
Although we have a stringent cleaning regime in place and are adhering to government guidelines, we would also like to ask for your co-operation in ensuring that both staff and visitors are all safe and feel comfortable at Linden House; a COVID-19 secure venue.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in this fast-changing situation.
We really look forward to welcoming you to Linden House.
